Riverside Cemetery and the Appleton Historical Society welcome you to a self-guided tour dedicated to honoring the Veterans who gave their lives in service to our nation. This solemn event is an opportunity to reflect on their bravery and sacrifice while connecting with the stories that have shaped our collective history.
Each Veteran's site features a detailed biography, offering a glimpse into their lives, their service, and the legacy they left behind. To enhance your experience, physical maps are available at the cemetery office and in book boxes located throughout the grounds, guiding you through this journey of remembrance.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. By learning about these heroes, you help preserve their memory and pay tribute to the values they fought to uphold. Your presence is a testament to the enduring gratitude we hold for their sacrifice.
The plaques for this walk will be up annually from Memorial Day weekend through Labor day.
